Today I will share some of my thoughts, analysis, games and knowledge about the Opening "Parham Attack" starting with 1.e4 e5 2.Qh5 As you can find in Wikipedia "The opening is named after American chess master Bernard Parham, the first master-level player known to have advocated it". My ranking rovers around 1000 so I am no superstar. I still won the game though =p. I almost find the tactic wildly disrespectful to the game. Qe7 kills the move, I don't think I have lost a game to this opening. H3and white is probably better. I have come across this sooooo many times as Black. C3white wants to play d4- and it cannot be stopped for instance c5 3.Nf3 Nc6 d4 and even if white cannot keep two central pawns, the d-pawn is isolated 2 Nf6 3. Once again, the first couple moves were (I was black) 1. Thus depends also on what type of position u like on 1.e4 e5 with white. He will be the first to be out of preparation. Thinking this way can you also work out how to develop your pieces playing g3 Bg2. Repertoire Expansion #2: Meeting 1.e4 e5. What's a good black defense for this white opening? Nxe5seems to be white's best here 5 Bxf2+!? But to everyone joining, my real question now is what to do after 1. I forget what happened from there. Foreword: for what it's worth, my ICU rating is 1507, and I have no idea how that translates to a FIDE or any other rating! It wasn't an online game and I typically don't record casual games such as this one.
